Veterans Day is approaching and many of Virginia's most popular destinations are offering free admission for veterans in honor of their service. Mount Vernon, Montpelier and Colonial Williamsburg have all just announce that admission will be free of charge on Veterans Day to those who have served our country. Given Virginia's rich military history - these are likely to be the first of many museums and destinations to make this offer as a way of saying thank you. Keep watching this blog and Virginia.org for more offers and check out this page for trip ideas to some of the finest military memorials and museums in the country which are in Virginia.
